Anniversary Diamond Rings Vancouver

An engagement ring marks a question. An anniversary ring marks the answer, years later, after the moves and the job changes and the late nights.

There's no single style for it. Some people add a diamond band to sit beside the engagement ring. Some choose an eternity ring with diamonds all the way round. Others want something separate for the right hand, or a bigger centre stone for the ring she's worn since day one.

Eternity bands are one of the most common anniversary choices, and the first decision is how far round the diamonds go.

A full eternity band has diamonds the whole way round. It looks great from every angle. The trade-off is sizing: with no plain metal at the back, a full eternity ring can't really be resized later, so we take our time measuring.

A half eternity band runs diamonds across the top and leaves the underside plain. It's more comfortable next to other rings, easier to resize, and usually costs less.

Then pick a shape. Rounds give a continuous line of sparkle. Ovals or emerald cuts set sideways look a little unexpected and catch the eye from further away.

If it's going to sit next to her engagement ring, bring that ring in (or a photo of it) so we can match the height, metal and diamond size.

It happens more than you'd think: a band bought separately makes the engagement ring look yellow next to it. Annoying, and avoidable.

The fix is boring but it works. Look at her ring under the same light as the new diamonds before choosing anything, and bring a clear photo if you can't borrow the ring.

As for lab grown versus natural, it's less important here than people think. Both are real diamonds. What your eye picks up is colour and brightness, so that's what we match.
