One Complimentary Lifetime Resizing
Fit matters. The original purchaser named on the SMC Diamonds invoice receives one complimentary standard ring resizing during their lifetime, covering up to three full ring sizes larger or smaller.

What Is Included
The original purchaser named on the SMC Diamonds invoice is entitled to one complimentary standard ring resizing during their lifetime. The complimentary resizing covers an adjustment of up to three full ring sizes larger or smaller, provided SMC Diamonds determines that the ring can be safely resized without compromising its design, structure, engraving or stone settings.
Designs That May Not Be Resizable
Certain designs, including full-eternity bands, tension settings, highly detailed bands and other structurally sensitive designs, may not be resizable. Eternity bands are not eligible for the complimentary resize.
When Additional Charges Apply
If a ring must be remade instead of resized, or requires additional metal, replacement stones or substantial reconstruction, additional charges may apply. SMC Diamonds will provide a quotation before completing any chargeable work. If an existing engraving is removed, damaged or altered as a result of resizing, the cost of restoring or replacing the engraving is the client's responsibility.
Terms of the Benefit
- Available only to the original purchaser named on the invoice
- May be used once and has no cash value
- Cannot be transferred to another person or another jewellery item
Work Performed by Other Jewellers
Any resizing performed by a third-party jeweller may void warranty coverage for any condition caused, contributed to or affected by that work. SMC Diamonds is not responsible for damage resulting from another party's work.
Sending Your Ring to Us
Clients who cannot personally deliver and collect their jewellery must contact SMC Diamonds before shipping it. Rings must be sent using a tracked service and insured for their full replacement value. Repairs and services may take up to four weeks, and complex work may take longer.
