Straight, Curved or Notched?
Say your engagement ring sits low and wide. A straight band will leave a little gap. Totally normal, but some people hate it.
A curved band, sometimes called a contour band, bends around the centre stone so the two lock together. A notched band does the same with a small cut-out.
Honestly, a gap doesn't bother everyone. Pick what you like. Nobody's checking.

How Many Bands Is Too Many?
How many is too many? Honestly, nobody's counting. Two is classic, three is fun, five is a statement.
Thinner bands, roughly 1.5 to 2 mm, sit together nicely. Wider ones look great solo but get bulky in a stack.
Fun fact: lots of people wear the wedding band closest to the hand, engagement ring on top. Some flip it. Up to you.
